About Wade McNutt

Wade McNutt is a pianist, worship leader, educator, and founder of PianoMeditation.com. With a lifelong passion for music that began in early childhood, Wade has dedicated his career to helping others experience the peace and joy of playing piano. After earning a degree in commercial music and touring professionally, he returned to teach at the collegiate level—leading the piano department and directing live performance ensembles.

While teaching, Wade began composing instrumental piano music rooted in faith and reflection. His first album, Christian Piano Meditation, Vol. 1, marked the beginning of a broader mission: to teach people around the world how to play worship piano at a higher level. What started as a simple YouTube channel—Piano Meditation Worship Tutorials—soon evolved into a growing global community of learners and worship musicians.

In addition to his music and teaching, Wade serves as a worship leader, bringing his heart for ministry into both live and online spaces. He also runs two online communities: PianoChops.com, where students can build specific piano skills through targeted lessons, and PianoMeditation.com, a mission-driven community of supporters who help fund the creation of free worship song tutorials—empowering musicians around the world to grow in skill and serve their local churches.
